English FA Premier League
OSMi has been awarded the Premier League's Live Free To Air package for the next 3 years, for 47 territories in sub-saharan Africa.
The F.A. Premier League Limited (the FAPL) has, since its formation in 1992, created one of the world's leading sports competitions which is currently known internationally as the Barclays English Premier League (the EPL).
The FAPL, ever interested in the growth and worldwide acceptance of the EPL, created a new package of rights, a single non-exclusive package of audio-visual rights for free-to-air broadcast in the African Broadcast Territory.
Optima Sports Management Int’l Ltd (OSMI) are now the exclusive licensee of the English Premier League for the territory as defined. The FAPL’s broadcast strategy has been and remains to bring the Premier League competition to as many viewers as possible around the world while maximising the value of our audio-visual rights. OSMi is also committed to this strategy and we are doing all in our power to ensure this.
